Chandran – Thingaloor Temple

Kalilasanthar Temple is located in Thingaloor in Tanjore District, in the state of Tamil Nadu. Kailasanthar temple is one of the main nine navagraha temple. The main deity of this temple is Lord Shiva and presiding deity is Moon which denotes Chandran. This temple is for the planet moon which is called as thingal in tamil. There is a separate shrine for Lord Chandran in this temple. As Chandran worshiped Lord Shiva and got his blessings the devotees of Easwaran also prays to this planet. Anyone who has Chandra dosha in his horoscope can get affected by diseases like mental illness, skin and nervous problem.
