Vallakottai Murugan Temple is
very famous temple, as the temple has tallest Murugan statue in all of India. Here
lord Murugan is known as Subramaniyaswami. In this temple they have annadhanam
scheme to feed poor people with good food. During kirthigai many devotees visit
this temple to have a holy darshan and like to get blessing from the Lord
Murugan. The environment around the temple is so good. It is best to take some
food while you travel to this temple and you can eat the food around the temple
holy tank this experience will be like watching the olden Tamil village kind of
movies. Kids like to visit this temple as the temple has beautiful peacock
grown there. You can see small vendors selling fruits and cut mangos which are
very tasty to eat.
