Thirunallar Saniswaran Temple

Thirunallar Saniswaran temple is located in Karaikal, India. This temple is one among the Navagraha temples and this temple represents Saturn. The main deity of this temple is Lord Shiva and commonly known as Dharbaranyeswarar. In this temple it is believed that Lord Shiva’s Idol is made of dharba grass. The name “Thirunallar” represents the association of King Nala, who got his deliverance from evil effects of Shani by asking for lord’s mercy here. Whoever visits this temple and prays before Lord Saneeswaran is belived to be relieved from all sufferings and curses and gets blessing from lord for a happy life.
