Temple Bells

We often visit temples and ring bells as thought by our elders, but we failed to know the true reason behind them and now it’s high time to know the facts behind them, According to Hindu mythology the sound wave clears bad micro bacteria in the air and creates a safe environment. Each bell is made up of mixed metals with different proportions to create a distinct sound which triggers our brain to clear our scattered mind and brings full focus towards god and create harmony in our mind. Every time we ring the bell and create an auspicious sound while entering the temple it denotes that we are awaking god that we have reached his home place. The one way to ring bell is to bring awareness and to bring concentration and inner peace. Ringing bell at the time of aarti is of great significance as it indicates that our prayers to be heard to the god and he accepts our offerings we do and bless the devotees from all sufferings and evil force. Another representation of ringing temple bell symbolically denotes we are asking god to accept our prayers and get rid of evil force.
