Swetharanyeswara temple / Thiruvenkadu
temple is famous for budhan graham; this temple is one among the navagraha temples.
The main deity of this temple is lord Shiva. It is said that lord Shiva put an end
to evil minded maruthuvasuran by killing him under a tree after this villages
thanked lord Shiva for saving them. You can bhudhan bhagavan in a separate
sannidhi inside this temple. Worshiping bhudhan bhagavan on Wednesdays will
help one excel in education as bhudhan is associated with knowledge and education.
It is said that people who take bath in the temple holy tank will get married
soon and people who are suffering from diseases will get healed completely and have
a prosperous life.
