temple is located in Alangudi. This temple is one among the navagraha temples.
This temple is very famous for Lord Guru bhagavan formerly known as Lord
Dakshinamurthy. It is very auspicious to visit this temple on Thursdays and people
offer yellow color clothes to him. Some people make yellow chick peas as form
of mala and present it to god for getting his blessings. It is said that people
who have weak guru in horoscope should come here and lit 21 oil lamps and round
the temple 21 times for getting blessings from him to get married soon. Lord Guru
bhagavan helps his devotees by offering good education and wealth in one’s
life.
